The Good Mothers

Based upon a true story, The Good Mothers follows the fates of Denise Garofalo, Maria Concetta Cacciola, and Giuseppina Pesce as they dare to stand up to the fearsome ‘Ndrangheta mafia. Helping them in their efforts is prosecutor Anna Colace, newly arrived in Calabria from Milan with the insight and strategy to topple the ‘Ndrangheta clans; focus on the women. It’s a strategy freighted with risk—the ‘Ndrangheta are known and feared for their iron grip and insidious power. The Good Mothers is the gripping story of three women and their bid to escape the mighty criminal empire and collaborate with the side of justice.
