PETER STRAUGHAN WINS BEST SCREENPLAY AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES FOR 'CONCLAVE'

Peter Straughan won his first Golden Globe at the 82nd annual awards ceremony, scoring for Best Screenplay — Motion Picture for ‘Conclave’.

The Papal drama, written by Straughan who adapted the book of the same name by Robert Harris, is set in the Vatican and follows Ralph Fiennes as Cardinal Lawrence, a man of faith challenged by personal doubts after the death of the current pope reveals corruption and secrets within the Church.
